Magnusson Architecture and Planning (MAP) is a purpose-driven architecture firm centered on socially responsible housing and community development. At MAP, we work to foster a collegial, collaborative, and team-based studio environment, focused on thoughtful planning and design solutions to support and elevate our clients’ missions.The firm is seeking a talented and skilled candidate to join our successful team and work under the supervision of a Project Manager and Principal/Associate-in-Charge.
Responsibilities:
Assist in all phases of new construction and rehabilitation projects, including production of schematic, design development and working drawings under the leadership of a Project Manager. Independently perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity. Prepare presentations for government agencies' filings and client meetings. Research materials and specifications for assigned project types. Maintain BIM model integrity and apply office standards.
Qualifications:
Professional Degree in Architecture 3 to 5+ years of experience in preparing architectural drawings and construction documents Proficient in Revit Excellent digital presentation skills and design sense Interest in multi-family residential development, affordable housing and sustainable community development Strong communication and collaboration skills
