Loan Reconciliation Specialist - Ridgeland, MS

General Position Scope: This person will be responsible for researching and balancing the Loan Settlement Account. This individual will ensure that established processes and policies are followed, and service standards are achieved. Duties and Responsibilities: Research and reconcile simple to moderate out of balance conditions for all loan accounts on Jack Henry Silverlake. Research and balances individual loan processor’s transactions, when applicable, and passes any correcting entries that may be required. Provide support when needed for loan reconcilement and all other duties as assigned. Perform other reconciliation duties as needed. Back up Loan Servicing as needed. Assist Loan Officers/Loan Assistants with loan transaction inquiries. Perform other duties as assigned. Back up Escrow and Compliance areas. Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct. Participate in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections Program. Make referrals to Mortgage Center and Wealth Management. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred Two years of lending assistant experience or working with loan transactions. Ability to review and reconcile a heavy volume of transactions and provide solutions to most problems. Solid problem solving and extensive knowledge of financial calculations required.
