JOB SUMMARY Responsible for supporting the Employee Relations team in managing and resolving employee relations issues by compiling and organizing documents, analyzing data, preparing or drafting reports, and providing insights to discussions that will allow conclusions and with agility resolve situations, improve employee engagement and workplace culture. Responds to employees simple inquiries and supports management on complex matters.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Data Analysis: Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret employee relations data to identify deviations or trends in comparison but not limited to policies, employee manual, programs, processes, values, guidance, instructions and culture; including follow company process, Document Retention Policies and accuracy of records of employee relations situations and cases; may draft reports for management.
Case Management: Assist in managing employee relations situations and cases, disciplinary actions, performance actions including but not limited to conducting initial exploratory interviews as a first contact service to callers-on-site visits, and, or research for initial steps of an investigations; may support on providing initial perspectives and recommendations for next steps or resolution.
Employee Support: Provides orientation, guidance and support to employees on any inquire about employee relations policy, procedures or HR matter, ensuring a fair and consistent approach; may facilitate initial resolution conversations between employee(s) and management.
Executes termination in HRIS of employees and exit of company if applicable ensuring consistency of process while compliant with company policies and procedures.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports on employee relations metrics, such as situations and cases worked, grievance trends, response time, and employee satisfaction scores with ER approach.
Compliance: Supports in developing and, or delivering orientations, training and developing documents (eg: Policies, SOP’s, Manuals, Intranet, etc) for continuous improvement and update to ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations as needed.
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and activities to promote a positive workplace culture.
Stay updated on current employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree
Master’s Degree
EXPERIENCE Required Bachelor Degree or Master Degree preferably of accredited institution; with at least 3 years in Employee Relations, Labor Relations or similar field.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
PHR- Professional in Human Resources (preferable)
