POSITION SUMMARY The Field Sales manager will increase company revenues and gross margins by developing and maintaining long term customer relationships. Additionally they will ensure adequate focus on high profit products and services, and achieve Equipment Depot key vendor mutual performance goals.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Must work seamlessly with Branch Operations Manager to foster a Performance Guaranteed Culture.
Develops a business plan and approved sales strategy for the Aftermarket Focused sales team that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Responsible for the performance and development of sales reps.
Conducts one-on-one meetings to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance.
Must be in the field with the reps providing hands‑on guidance and coaching a minimum of 3 Days a Week.
Prepare action plans by reps, as well as by team, for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
Understands the importance of timely follow up with customers, managers and staff making communication a top priority.
Assists reps in preparation of proposals and presentations.
Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
Provides timely feedback to Senior Management regarding performance.
Understands market pricing levels and works with reps to increase service share of market while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
Responsibility to assist in establishing and meeting OEM performance commitments.
Develop strong relationships with OEM’s while representing Equipment Depot in the most professional manner possible.
Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the sales team.
Recruits, tests, hires, and on‑boards reps based on criteria set by senior management.
Strictly enforce the implementation and use of a CRM system and ensures Sugar and LiftNet is used to its full capacity.
Must Assist A/R in the collection of past due invoices as necessary.
Promote full range of Equipment Depot represented products and brands.
Other tasks that may be required for the successful performance of the above.
QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ABILITIES Education:
Bachelors degree preferred
Experience:
Must have 3-5 years in a leadership role within similar industry or organization
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products prior knowledge and use of CRM a must
Other Requirements:
Excellent organizational skills; people and process management abilities required.
