Job Description Wholesale Account Manager - Direct-Hire/Full-time - Eagan, MN

Are you a results-driven sales professional with experience in retail apparel and wholesale growth?

THE RIGHT STAFF is partnering with a growing promotional products and apparel supplier to hire a Wholesale Account Manager. This position is responsible for managing key accounts, driving retail revenue, and expanding wholesale opportunities. The role blends inside and outside sales, strategic territory planning, trade show representation, and account management to deliver measurable growth across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

Drive retail and wholesale revenue growth through key account management and territory development.

Manage and coordinate inside and outside sales activities, supporting National Account Managers, Territory Representatives, and Inside Sales Representatives.

Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans, including local, out-of-state, and international customers.

Represent the organization at national trade shows and customer events, optimizing ROI and travel budgets.

Conduct retail visits, pitch products (branded and unbranded), and build strong relationships with resorts, parks, airports, and independent retailers.

Maintain accurate CRM data, sales pipeline records, and performance metrics while following a structured sales process.

Manage a diverse and evolving product catalog, including outdoor and performance apparel, eco-friendly apparel, and printed/embroidered options.

Collaborate with internal teams to support merchandising, pricing, promotions, and territory initiatives.

Monitor, evaluate, and report on sales performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and revenue growth.

Adapt to changing business needs, problem‑solve on the spot, and maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven retail and wholesale sales experience with measurable success in revenue growth.

Experience supporting inside and outside sales teams.

National trade show experience and strategic territory planning capabilities.

Strong relationship‑building, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and CRM systems, or ability to quickly learn new tools.

Position Benefits, Pay & Schedule

Full‑time, direct‑hire opportunity

Ability to travel approximately 30%, including international travel (Canada)

100% Onsite in Eagan, MN

Competitive base salary range: $50, 000-$70, 000, plus commission opportunities
