Role Summary We are looking for a Sales Engineer who will act as the technical and domain expert supporting the sales organization. You will partner closely with Account Executives to demonstrate value, design solutions, and build trust with prospects across Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices, CROs, and Diagnostics.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, technical problem‑solving, and translating complex platforms into clear business value.
Key Responsibilities Pre‑Sales & Customer Engagement
Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams throughout the sales cycle
Lead product demonstrations, technical deep dives, and solution workshops
Understand customer workflows and map them to Cloudbyz eClinical, Safety, and AI solutions
Respond to technical questions, RFIs, RFPs, and security questionnaires
Support proof‑of‑concepts (POCs), pilots, and sandbox evaluations
Solution Design & Architecture
Design end‑to‑end solution architectures across CTMS, EDC, eTMF, Safety, RTSM, AI Agents, and integrations
Advise on configuration, scalability, data models, and compliance
Explain Salesforce‑native architecture, APIs, integrations, and AI capabilities
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility and roadmap alignment
Technical Enablement & Thought Leadership
Develop demo environments, reference architectures, and solution collateral
Act as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers
Support industry events, webinars, and executive briefings
Provide feedback from the field to influence product innovation
Required Qualifications Experience
4–8+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Pre‑Sales
Experience selling enterprise B2B SaaS platforms
Prior exposure to Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, or Regulated Software strongly preferred
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Salesforce, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with APIs, integrations, data models, and system architecture
Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, validation, and compliance concepts is a plus
Ability to explain AI/ML concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences
Soft Skills
Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
Strong business acumen and ability to articulate ROI and value
Comfortable engaging with C‑level executives and technical teams
Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Nice to Have
Hands‑on experience with CTMS, EDC, eTMF, Safety, or Clinical Operations platforms
Salesforce platform experience (Admin, Developer, or Architecture knowledge)
Experience supporting global enterprise customers
Background in clinical operations, data management, or regulatory affairs
