In this role, you will oversee and grow a dynamic team of Account Managers dedicated to enhancing customer engagement and revenue growth. You will spearhead strategic initiatives to manage a substantial portfolio while ensuring that the team meets key performance metrics. This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and understands the intricacies of B2B SaaS operations. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to elevate customer experiences and contribute to our partner's mission of scalable growth.
Accountabilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments
Own team forecasting, pipeline health, and reporting for predictable performance against NRR goals
Build and refine operating rhythms for the team, including 1:1s, deal reviews, and performance management
Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to develop and execute segment and whitespace strategies
Drive deal strategy and execution, including proposal development, negotiation guidance, and expansion planning
Create and standardize tools and templates for customer engagement
Serve as a senior escalation point for strategic accounts and ensure a best-in-class customer experience
Hire, onboard, and grow talent within the Account Management organization
Navigate organizational change, helping the team adapt as the company evolves
Travel up to 20% of the time to support customer relationships
Requirements
5+ years of total experience in Account Management and/or Customer Success
3+ years managing a team of account managers or existing business sellers
Aptitude for technology and ability to communicate with technical stakeholders
Experience managing a multimillion-dollar book of business
Proven experience with international/global customers
Strong operational rigor with experience in forecasting and pipeline management
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Ability to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment
