About the Role: The Sales Development Representative at Phaedon will serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, driving business growth through proactive outreach and lead generation. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, making meaningful connections with prospects, and generating interest in Phaedon's services. The ideal candidate will excel at scheduling qualified meetings for our Business Development Representatives to advance the sales process.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Generate qualified leads through research, outbound prospecting, and strategic outreach campaigns

Make initial contact with potential clients via phone, email, and LinkedIn to introduce Phaedon's capabilities

Engage prospects in discovery conversations to understand their business needs and challenges

Generate interest in Phaedon's product offerings in loyalty technology and analytics

Schedule qualified meetings between prospects and Business Development Representatives

Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and lead status in CRM system

Meet or exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline contribution

Collaborate with the business development team to refine messaging and improve conversion rates

Stay informed about Phaedon's service offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape

Location: This role is based out of our office in the Designer’s Guild building in the heart of Minneapolis' North Loop neighborhood. We embrace a hybrid model with three in-office days per week to ensure a mix of collaboration and flexibility to support our employees' success.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree AND 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation OR 5 years of experience without a degree

Experience in a B2B SaaS sales environment, preferably in a sales development or outbound prospecting role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and competitive spirit

Comfortable with cold calling and high-volume outreach activities

Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)

Experience with intent signal research tools (ZoomInfo)

Ability to learn quickly and articulate complex service offerings

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency with LinkedIn, email platforms, and sales engagement tools

Positive attitude and resilience in the face of rejection

Nice to have:

Loyalty Marketing or adjacent MarTech experience

Travel, hospitality or retail client prospecting

Pay Range The pay structure for this role is base pay + commission. The total annualized on-target earnings (OTE) for this position is $60,000- $100,000 per year
