Real Estate Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorney with both Commercial and Residential Real Estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, refinances, and leasing matters.
Prepare, review, and organize transactional documents, including contracts of sale, deeds, mortgages, loan documents, riders, easements, estoppels, SNDAs, and closing binders.
Coordinate and track due diligence items, including title commitments, surveys, inspections, zoning documents, environmental reports, and corporate documentation.
Review title reports and surveys and assist in identifying and clearing title issues.
Communicate with clients, lenders, realtors, title companies, surveyors, municipalities, and opposing counsel.
Prepare and manage closing checklists, closing statements, and post-closing deliverables.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of previous experience in a similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with document management systems is a plus
Paralegal certificate preferred but not required with relevant experience
