About the Role Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.
We’re looking for a curious, resourceful and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our growing Legal team and provide crucial support across our Corporate Legal function. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel (Corporate), the ideal candidate brings substantial transactional experience and the ability to independently build and operationalize corporate processes, including corporate policies and record management. As part of a small team supporting a rapidly growing organization, the ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment in handling complex, multi-jurisdictional corporate work and thrives in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.
This is a full‑time position based out of our Oakland office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in‑person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’ll Do We are looking for a highly adaptable, organized and self‑motivated individual who can handle fast‑paced projects independently and with good humor. You are process and detail oriented when it comes to the what and engaging and responsive when it comes to the how of working with our employee base. At the direction of and working with the assistance of Fivetran’s AGC (Corporate) and Corporate Counsel, you will:
Support routine and complex corporate governance across all subsidiaries, including maintaining entity records, managing board materials and minute books and assisting with regulatory filings.
Provide project management and support for complex corporate transactions including M&A, financing rounds and strategic transactions through due diligence coordination, document management and closing preparations.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (HR, Tax, Finance, Treasury, Accounting and Legal) to anticipate, implement and/or address complex projects or transactions, including subsidiary formation and dissolution.
Partner with outside counsel as needed on various corporate matters.
Support our corporate insurance portfolio.
Support execution logistics, including signature collection, notarization and apostille.
Collaborate with internal teams to manage due diligence and KYC requests from third‑party service providers and customers.
Together with our Senior Equity Administrator, assist in supporting our equity program and management of our equity management platforms (Carta and Equity Edge).
Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks, including processing international mail, invoice processing and procurement (Coupa).
Work to identify, build and maintain scalable corporate operations processes, with emphasis on documentation and audit trails.

Skills We’re Looking For
Undergraduate degree from a 4‑year accredited institution.
10+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal and/or legal operations professional at a technology company or law firm.
Proven track record of scaling corporate operations processes such as signing authority frameworks, approval workflows and record management systems.
Substantial experience supporting IPO, M&A transactions and financing rounds, with demonstrated end‑to‑end transaction management.
Strong working knowledge of corporate governance, subsidiary management, SEC compliance, entity compliance (U.S. and international), KYC/UBO, regulatory filings, corporate record keeping and secretary’s office functions.
Exceptional drafting, organizational and communication skills.
Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
The compensation range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation for the target position and level, and may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on the role. Oakland Pay Range $160,339.52 — $200,424.40 USD
