We have an immediate opening for an experienced and detail-oriented Concrete Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial concrete projects. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of concrete construction methods, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure profitable and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine project requirements

Read blueprints and measurements

Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for concrete, rebar, formwork, labor, and materials

Sidewalks, Curbs, Approaches

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals

Analyze labor, material, equipment, and overhead costs

Assist with bid strategy, scheduling assumptions, and project scope clarification

Ensure estimates comply with company standards and project specifications

Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of experience as a Concrete Estimator or in concrete construction estimating

Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and industry standards

Proficiency with estimating software

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Skills

Experience estimating commercial or residential concrete projects

Knowledge of local building codes and construction regulations

Familiarity with scheduling software and project management toolsOSHA safety knowledge

Salary:

Commission based on Total Project Revenue
