We're seeking a personable, upbeat professional to deliver exceptional customer service and provide expert support within our Body Shop Parts Division.

A Body Shop Parts Counter Representative plays a vital role by supporting internal staff, technicians, insurance adjusters, and retail customers in identifying, ordering, and tracking the correct automotive parts. This position ensures accurate pricing against repair estimates, manages inventory, processes orders and returns, and maintains steady communication to support timely repairs.

Role Responsibilities

Welcome and assist internal and external customers, including body shop personnel, technicians, insurance partners, and retail clients-while providing accurate technical product knowledge.

Pull, fill, label, and prepare parts orders, ensuring all items match repair estimates and assigned job numbers.

Monitor inventory levels, process returns and exchanges, manage backorders, and promptly alert management of low or critical stock.

Utilize OEM electronic parts catalogs, estimating platforms, and dealership/management software to research parts, place orders, and maintain accurate documentation.

Answer incoming calls, provide pricing and availability quotes, communicate updates to file handlers, and notify the body shop when parts have arrived.

Process sales and payments, ensuring all invoices and paperwork are accurate and complete.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked parts counter and showroom.

Employee Prerequisites:

Streamlined onboarding process.

Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand/walk for extended periods.

Ability to work independently or as part of a fast‑paced team environment.

Proficiency with computerized inventory and catalog systems.

Strong knowledge of automotive parts and industry practices; pay is based on experience.

Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
