Farley Capital L.P.
We are seeking a self-motivated quick learner who is: (1) familiar with accounting concepts and comfortable with quantitative work; (2) willing to be a hard-working “jack of all trades” within our small firm; (3) eager to learn more about investing and financial markets; and (4) possessing common sense and honesty.
Responsibilities
Administrative: Booking trades, supporting daily portfolio accounting/reporting, managing external vendors, etc.
Marketing: Managing our HubSpot database of prospective investors, serving as the first line of contact for additions to that database, etc.
Other: Providing support to colleagues on administrative, compliance, investor relations, and other projects as needed.
Qualifications
While this will primarily be a remote/work-from-home role, our ideal candidate would be willing to relocate to within commuting distance of either New York City (where one of our co-managing partners is based) or Portsmouth, NH (where our other co-managing partner is based).
Accounting education and/or work experience is strongly preferred.
As we are a small firm, our culture is very entrepreneurial, and a hardworking new hire could expect ample opportunities to expand his or her compensation by taking on greater responsibilities related to administration, compliance, investor relations/marketing, and/or research support.
Recent graduates MUST have a GPA of 3.5/4.0 or higher to be considered. Your resume MUST include a GPA, as well as your SAT/ACT score (preferably broken down by section).
Please note
Starting compensation $70K-$100K (+/- based on candidate experience) plus full benefits including health, dental, and vision coverage as well as an up to $15K annual matched contribution to your 401K.
Please apply via this LinkedIn page; our aim is to follow up promptly with the most promising applicants. NO UNSOLICITED EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS.
