JOB POSTING DEPARTMENT: Circle of Boating REPORTS TO: Director of Sales POSITION PURPOSE The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling the Suntex Boat Club, a premier members-only club offering unlimited access to an entire fleet of top-of-the-line boats and watercraft. This individual supports a region of marinas and serves as the regional salesperson to maintain membership levels at the assigned Suntex Boat Clubs. The Regional Sales Manager works collaboratively within the organization as well as vendors, members, and guests external to the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sell, renew, and retain boat club memberships for a region, covering multiple marinas
Provide in-person and virtual property tours to prospective club members
Explain Suntex Boat Club, including but not limited to packages and pricing, the specifics of each boat club vessel, the body of water where club members can take the boat, etc.
Develop leads for new membership sales through a variety of sources
Achieve budgeted new member goals by marina and region
Plan and host events both at the marina and offsite to promote the club to include trade shows, open houses, boat shows, hosting at HOAs, etc.
Prospect, generate leads, and manage sales pipeline to close deals to generate sales targets
Provide the highest level of customer and guest services
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
5 years of outside sales experience, preferred
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication
Must have intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Must have the ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and Company goals
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to fifteen (15) pounds
This individual is generally located in an office environment generally seated at a desk with a chair for multiple hours, however may travel to various venues and marina locations based on scheduled events
Must be able to swim or willing to wear a personal floatation device when visiting marina site locations
