CNC Machinist - Tool & Die
Marvin Composites is offering a Tool and Die Maker / CNC Machinist position in Fargo, ND. Base pay $24–$42 per hour, $4,000 sign‑on bonus, and relocation support up to $5,000.
Job Overview As a Tool and Die Maker, you will set up and operate CNC mills, wire EDMs, surface grinders, and other precision equipment to manufacture, maintain, and repair dies and tooling. You will perform quality inspections, continuous improvement, mentoring, and support production with overtime and shift premium pay.
Schedule / Pay Shift choice flexibility, overtime optional. Pay includes:
Weekend premium: +$4.00/hr
Overnight premium: +20% of hourly rate
Second Shift premium: +10% of hourly rate
Pay based on experience
Highlights of Your Role
Operate advanced equipment in a well‑equipped Tool and Die department.
Set up, program, and operate CNC machines such as vertical mills, wire EDMs, and surface grinders.
Create and edit programs on various controls.
Inspect, maintain, and repair machining equipment, tools, and dies.
Perform quality checks with measuring and gauging tools.
You're a Good Fit If You Have
A team‑focused mentality, with training and mentoring skills.
A proactive approach to supporting production and solving challenges.
Two or more years of related experience as a Tool & Die Maker or CNC Machinist, or a technical degree such as Precision Machining Technology.
Mechanical or technical proficiency to operate CNC mills or surface grinders.
