Our purpose: We accelerate partners’ success through innovative financial technology solutions and inspired service.**The Opportunity:**The **National Sales Executive** will lead the expansion of the **Juniper – Velera Payments Hub**, a cornerstone of **Velera’s payments modernization strategy** for community financial institutions. Our Payments Hub unifies payments and control of transactions such as ACH, wires, international FX, FedNow, and RTP through a single, API-driven platform that simplifies connectivity and accelerates real-time payment adoption.This role focuses on developing deep, strategic relationships with banks and credit unions while driving revenue growth through new Payments Hub sales. Beyond individual deals, this position will help build and refine the national sales program—establishing the structure, process discipline, and collaboration framework that scales with Velera’s broader ecosystem. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, consultative fintech sales professional who can translate complex payment modernization challenges into actionable business outcomes.**Day in the Life:*** Promote Juniper’s Payments Hub and its full capabilities—ACH, wire, international FX, FedNow, and RTP—to financial institutions across the U.S.* Collaborate with Velera’s leadership and product teams to ensure unified strategy, positioning, and execution across all sales and marketing initiatives.* Build and institutionalize a structured sales program, including prospecting cadence, pipeline management, proposal templates, performance metrics, and CRM best practices.* Identify and engage key decision-makers—executives, operations, treasury, and IT leaders—to uncover modernization needs and deliver tailored solutions.* Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery and qualification through proposals, pricing analysis, negotiations, and contract execution.* Develop strong referral and consulting relationships that expand Juniper’s reach and reinforce Velera’s brand in the payments industry.* Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Implementation, and Account Management teams to ensure consistent delivery and client success.* Represent Juniper and Velera at industry conferences, trade shows, and industry events to strengthen visibility and credibility in the market.* Maintain a disciplined pipeline, providing regular reporting, forecasting, and market intelligence on competitive trends and client needs.* Achieve or exceed annual revenue and client acquisition goals.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Qualifications:*** Minimum 10 years of external sales experience in banking, credit union, or fintech sectors required.* Proven success selling payment, core, or digital banking technology to financial institutions.* Experience with ACH, wire, international FX, FedNow, RTP, and ISO 20022 strongly preferred.* Demonstrated ability to build or refine a sales process or program within a growing organization.* Consulting or enterprise-solution sales background preferred.**Education:*** Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.**About Velera**At Velera we are committed to fostering a workplace where every employee feels valued, respected, and connected.
