Compensation: Uncapped earning potential through commissions + 30/hour during manager-on-the-job training. Details below. The compensation structure includes potential earnings of $65,000+ in the first year while learning sales and leadership, with higher earnings on promotion. When performing managerial duties,$30/hour in addition to commissions earned. Upon promotion to Showroom Manager, compensation moves to salary plus bonus and averages $75,000 per year. As a Manager In Training you will work in a hybrid role as a Sales Associate while participating in a structured training program designed to prepare you for a future management position. You will learn the sales process, company policies, and develop leadership and operational skills from experienced managers. You will learn the role of the Showroom Manager through on-the-job training to prepare for future opportunities to manage a team in the showroom and increase showroom sales, customer satisfaction, and associate satisfaction while reducing expenses through strategic initiatives. At CITY Furniture, Sales Associates are entrepreneurs with the power to shape their success. We provide furniture, marketing support, delivery, and aftercare. You will build a customer base through referrals, repeat purchases, and prospecting past guests. Sales Associates have the opportunity to control their schedule and workload. As a Manager In Training, you will primarily: Learn the Showroom Manager role with daily showroom management tasks, handle customer service issues, engage with associates and guests to drive sales and satisfaction, conduct training sessions, help solve showroom problems, support new initiatives, complete showroom inventory counts, and learn how to manage a team and drive performance. Shadow experienced managers to learn operational and leadership skills. Contribute to team meetings and share ideas with senior leaders. Learn and practice responsibilities of a Showroom Manager. As a Sales Associate, you will: Help guests design a home they’ll love Engage and present home furnishings and service options Navigate large showrooms and be on your feet 8 hours a day Build personal connections and guide customers through the sales process Assist guests with financing options Convert interactions into sales Create invoices and schedule deliveries Prospect and manage accounts Maintain showroom neatness for a welcoming customer experience Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs Address customer concerns to ensure satisfaction Qualifications & What We’re Looking For
