About the Role

The Company is seeking an Area Executive Vice President to lead and oversee all growth-related activities within a designated market. This leadership role is pivotal in implementing business strategies, developing and achieving sales goals, and investing in key talent. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, capable of driving results and fostering collaboration, with a proven track record of growth and a strong, credible reputation in the employee benefits market. Responsibilities include working with the Area President to execute a growth plan, leading organic growth activities, and ensuring the Producer team is aligned with the overall plan. The role also involves sales management, people management, and development, as well as financial management to meet established growth goals.

Candidates for the Area Executive Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 8 years of leadership experience in insurance or brokerage, and a passion for managing change and driving accelerated growth. The role requires a strong, collaborative, and influential leader with excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will be a builder of teams, capable of attracting high-caliber talent and integrating them into the company's culture. A commitment to ethical business practices and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment are essential. The role also involves fostering relationships with Carrier Representatives and may include sourcing or nurturing new mergers within the market.
