About the Team: The LinkedIn Business Platform powers the end-to-end purchase lifecycle for LinkedIns online and fieldsold products. It supports critical business functions across multiple customer types, geographies, and product lines. Designed for adaptability and scale, the platform serves as the foundation for seamless transactions and enables multidimensional growth for the company.
About the Role: Were hiring a Principal Product Designer to lead 01 and platformlevel design initiatives focused on scaling selfserve and AIdriven automation across LinkedIns core experiences. This is a highimpact role that blends system thinking, strategic foresight, and handson design leadership to drive platformization efforts and create cohesive, scalable solutions for diverse user needs and business contexts.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, humancomputer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications
- 10+ years of experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to define and drive a bold platform design strategy that supports scalable, selfserve, and AIdriven experiences across complex systems
- Recognized as a subject matter expert in platform and system design, shaping crossfunctional vision and elevating design quality across multiple product areas
- Strong track record of influencing product direction and aligning stakeholders across functions and business lines to deliver unified, strategic outcomes
- Exceptional ability to lead 01 product design efforts in ambiguous spacesidentifying patterns, reframing problems, and building clarity from complexity
- Demonstrated mastery in visual and systemslevel communicationcrafting compelling narratives that guide teams and inspire executive stakeholders
- Strong experience presenting and advocating for design decisions at the executive level, influencing organizational priorities and roadmaps through usercentered thinking

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $185,000 to $290,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
