The Sales & Marketing Department is seeking an outgoing and professional individual for the role of
Associate Director of Sales , reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. This pivotal position will drive and maintain full occupancy by developing and executing sales strategies for both independent and assisted living, managing the admissions process, and building strong relationships with prospective residents.
Responsibilities
Oversee the sales team and ensure a seamless transition for new residents.
Create and implement approved sales plans and strategies to achieve maximum independent living and assisted living occupancy.
Coach and manage the sales team to reach and maintain full occupancy.
Fill vacancies promptly; manage and maintain a healthy waitlist.
Build and nurture the Priority membership and Ready List for future occupancy.
Conduct admissions interviews and guide new residents through the application and admissions process, demonstrating expertise in contract review and all contract types.
Ensure available inventory is in show‑ready condition and regularly checked for prospect viewing.
Collaborate with the Associate Director of Marketing on planning for board Marketing Advisory Committee meetings.
Collaborate with the Associate Director of Marketing to assure budget needs for Try‑It visits, prospect meals, and communications with prospective residents.
Participate in day‑to‑day team and office operations, fostering a collaborative sales function.
Utilize CRM (customer relations management) software to ensure complete and timely data entry, facilitate prospect follow‑up, and generate meaningful reports for ongoing sales and marketing analysis and planning.
Submit regular accurate reporting; assemble, compile, and analyze data.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
5–10 years of experience in sales within the senior living industry required.
Strong organizational, interviewing, and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and CRM software (Salesforce).
Self‑starter, team player, and passionate about serving older adults.
Professional appearance and demeanor required.
Good speaking and writing skills.
Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional additional hours, including evenings and weekends.
