The Senior Director / VP of Sales is responsible for leading enterprise-level revenue growth for Allied Universal North American Electronic Monitoring division across state, county, and federal markets. This role oversees complex, multi-year government contracts, drives national account strategy, and leads a sales organization in a highly regulated environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Enterprise Sales Strategy & Revenue Ownership
Own national sales strategy for enterprise EM solutions (GPS, RF, alcohol monitoring, integrated software platforms, etc.)
Drive multi-year, high-value contracts with state DOCs, large county systems, and federal agencies
Set revenue targets, pipeline strategy, and forecasting discipline across enterprise accounts
Identify expansion opportunities within existing statewide and multi-jurisdictional contracts
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and develop national sales team
Establish performance metrics, quotas, and accountability frameworks
Build repeatable enterprise sales processes and best practices
Partner with HR and executive leadership on succession planning and team scaling
Executive & Client Relationships
Serve as executive sponsor for top national and statewide accounts
Build long-term relationships with commissioners, directors, CIOs, and procurement officials
Represent the company in executive briefings, legislative meetings, and industry conferences
Manage escalations and high-visibility customer issues in collaboration with operations
Government Procurement & Contracting
Responsible for national sourcing contracts, including NASPO and GSA
Lead all enterprise-level RFP, RFI, and sole-source pursuits
Coordinate proposal strategy, pricing models, and compliance documentation
Negotiate complex MSAs, SLAs, renewals, and amendments
Ensure adherence to procurement regulations, audit requirements, and ethical standards
Cross-Functional & Strategic Collaboration
Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to ensure enterprise readiness
Provide market intelligence to influence product roadmap and platform scalability
Align sales strategy with service delivery, implementation, and customer success teams
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
8+ years of enterprise sales experience, including
government or public-sector markets
5+ years in a senior sales leadership role managing enterprise or national accounts
Proven success closing
$5M+ multi-year contracts
Deep experience with U.S. state and county procurement processes
Strong executive presence and negotiation skills
Enterprise deal structuring and long-cycle sales leadership
Compliance-first, ethical selling approach
Strategic account expansion and retention
Data-driven decision making and forecasting accuracy
