The Document Processing & Training Specialist will be a key member of the team, responsible for producing high-quality legal documents and training employees on new software and processes. Responsibilities for Document Processing Specialist:
Lead training sessions for employees on new software, tools, and workflow processes to ensure team proficiency and adoption
Produce, edit, format, and revise complex legal documents, including blacklines
Convert documents to Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint as required
Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards
Provide at-desk or remote support to attorneys and staff
Communicate effectively with lawyers and supervisors regarding tasks, instructions, and deadlines
Assist in developing and maintaining documentation and materials for departmental training programs
Requirements for Document Processing Specialist:
4+ years of experience as a word processor in a law firm environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Visio
Experience mentoring employees on new software, systems, or processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor with attorneys, staff, and clients
Capable of working independently and making well-thought-out decisions with minimal supervision
