The Senior Digital Analyst supports the Walt Disney World My Disney Experience mobile app ecosystem. Core responsibilities include the generation and implementation of technical requirements for analytics, develop and maintain regular reports, conduct both planned and ad hoc analyses, and perform deep dives to tell the story of performance for the mobile app space. They collaborate across teams on best practices for digital mobile app analytics implementation, analysis and communication. Passion for analytics and digital technology to deliver insights that drive decision-making across the organization, including Technology, Product Development and Marketing Strategy and others will be essential for success.
You will report to the Senior Manager - Digital Analytics.
What You Will Do:
Serve as the mobile app digital analytics subject matter expert, representing data collection strategies and translating business questions into actionable analytics use cases. Analyze mobile app data to uncover behavioral patterns, identify opportunities, and diagnose operational or experience issues. Transform complex findings into clear, compelling stories and build impactful visualizations, reports, and presentations that engage both technical and business audiences. Convert analytical needs into technical requirements, developing tagging strategies and instrumentation specifications for native app platforms to ensure accurate data capture. Collaborate with product, engineering, and implementation teams to integrate analytics tools (e.g., Adobe SDK, app lifecycle tracking), validate tracking, and troubleshoot implementation gaps. Define and execute quality assurance procedures, conducting thorough validation across devices, OS versions, and app builds to maintain data accuracy and reliability. Manage recurring performance reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly), lead deep dive analyses and ad hoc investigations, and support product, marketing, and operational teams with actionable insights. Use measurement insights to recommend optimization tactics that enhance engagement, conversion, and overall guest experience. What We Are Looking For:
5+ years relevant work experience in an analytical field 3+ years of experience with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics 3+ years of experience developing tagging strategies for mobile applications Experience with Adobe Mobile App Analysis Experience analyzing native Mobile App transactional flows Ability to derive actionable insights from data and effectively guide decision-making Ability to effectively QA analytics tracking on mobile app platforms Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex business environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to manage time effectively and consistently meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office suite What Will Set You Apart:
7+ years web & app analytics experience Travel industry and ecommerce experience Ability to apply statistical rigor to analyses Knowledge of mobile app/web page construction and/or user experience design Experience with push and in-app messaging analytics Experience with business intelligence tools Experience with automated tools for data validation, tag accuracy, and improving overall data quality Experience with SQL, Hive, Python and/or other programming languages Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a closely related quantitative/analytical discipline. Preferred Education
