Mechanical DrafterJob Description
We are seeking a Revit/CADD Technician to join our Mechanical Engineering Department. This role involves creating and managing Revit models and producing construction documents for diverse and complex building projects. You will work in a collaborative environment that values creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Revit models for mechanical systems.
Produce accurate construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
Collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate clearly with internal teams and clients.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience in drafting and mechanical design.
Basic understanding of Revit.
Understanding of construction documents.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates Degree in CAD or related field.
Equivalent experience in a similar role.
Work Environment This position is fully in-office with half-day Fridays. New team members are assigned a mentor to assist in their successful development. The work environment is supportive, with great people and meaningful projects contributing to a fulfilling career. Once you become a direct employee, you are eligible for bonuses.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
