Role Description This is a full-time Junior or Senior Project Designer position based in Itasca, IL. Designer will be responsible for developing and executing space plans, creating detailed drawings, look book deliverables, preparing submittals, and collaboration with architects and project management teams. Responsibilities include active involvement in the design, implementation, and successful completion of workplace furniture projects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in creating drawings and lookbook and managing submittals for project proposals and approvals.
Strong skills in developing precise Drawings and CET-related tools, and specifications using CAP 20/20
Experience in Space Planning and layout design tailored to client needs
Knowledge of Architecture principles and their application in interior design
Effective Project Management skills to coordinate and deliver on-time design projects
Excellent communication abilities and a client-focused mindset
Proficiency in design tools such as CET, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Cap 20/20 is highly desirable
Detail oriented, organized
Able to complete multiple projects simultaneously from beginning to end
Desire for creating design concepts and pallets for floor to ceiling design and everything in between. Using design strategy. effective communication and critical thinking
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
