Long-Term Contract position Day Shift position with OT
Pay Rate: based on proven work history
NX Tooling Designer job description: The Designer does primarily material handling rack designs with other design types to be assigned as required. These designs consist of new design, revisions, reverse engineering, lay‑outs, rework instructions, details design and others. The objective is to provide quality designs and build prints per the customers requirements to internal reviews.
Review and interpret Job Line‑up sheets
Create 3D Models
Generate drawings for 3D models
Revise provided drawings when necessary
Design per Customer Standards and Specifications
Ensure all Builds and Non‑conformances are updated on drawings
Create change information for estimating
Fills out or reviews control line‑up forms per designated project
Ensures design are cost effective
Understand and follow safety & environmental regulations and identify safety/environmental concerns
Adhere to the Quality System and participate in continuous improvement
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate degree (A.A.S.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum five‑years NX tooling design experience
A successful candidate will be subject to background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
