Assistant Golf Professional

Overview The Assistant Golf Professional supports the Head Golf Professional in managing all aspects of golf operations, including the practice facility, staff supervision and training, merchandising, tournaments, and member programs. This role combines exceptional member-facing service and proactive leadership, engagement in all member groups, and representing the club within the broader golf community.

Experience Required

Valid driver's license; ability to meet physical demands of golf course/club environment (lift/carry up to 50 lbs, extended standing/walking, outdoor conditions).

Essential Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service, professional advice, and assistance to all members and guests.

Assist in the daily management of the practice facility and golf operations.

Support merchandising operations, including purchasing, receiving, displaying, inventory control, promotions, and sales.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Actively promote and support club activities, events, and tournaments.

Take a leadership role in men's golf programs, weekly events, and tournaments.

Pursue continuing education opportunities to expand knowledge in all areas of the golf.

Maintain close communication with supervisors and club management to ensure seamless teamwork and operational excellence.
