Nectar
About Nectar
Nectar is building the future of workplace culture through our Culture Suite—recognition, internal communications, and engagement tools that help companies create environments where people actually want to work. We're not your typical HR tech company. We're building an internal media company that challenges conventional workplace wisdom and advocates for both workers and leaders.
The Role We're looking for an ambitious, organized content generalist to help us scale our internal media operation. This isn't a narrow specialist role—you'll touch everything from podcast logistics to social scheduling to copy editing.
You’ll work directly with our content and video teams to produce YouTube videos, podcasts, newsletters, and social content that reaches HR leaders and people ops professionals at mid-market companies.
What You’ll Do Content Operations
Coordinate podcast recording logistics, guest scheduling, and post‑production workflow
Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, YouTube, podcast, and newsletter platforms
Copy edit drafts for clarity, brand voice, and platform optimization
Manage content calendars and ensure deadlines are met
Content Creation & Repurposing
Write social copy, video descriptions, email subject lines, and promotional content
Repurpose long‑form content (interviews, webinars, articles) into platform‑specific posts
Draft video concepts and scripts for short‑form social content
Support newsletter production with research, formatting, and editing
Production Support
Assist with video shoot logistics and on‑camera work (when appropriate)
Coordinate with editors, designers, and external contractors
Track content performance and maintain production documentation
What We’re Looking For Must‑haves
Fun to work with: We have a really talented, ambitious team that thrives on honesty, trust, and doing quality work — and we have FUN working together. Buzzkills need not apply.
Strong writer: You can write clear, compelling copy that sounds human, not corporate. You despise generic AI slop. You can confidently infuse personality and unique perspectives into your prose, and evoke strong emotions from your readers.
Good taste: You know what good content looks like, and can articulate what makes it good. You can also spot what’s off when it misses the mark.
Ambitious: You’re excited to help build something from the ground up. You want to master the tasks given to you, and you’re eager to develop mastery in areas that are new to you.
Organized: You can juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders without dropping balls
Resilient: You can roll with the punches if projects and priorities shift around. You have the courage to give and receive honest feedback with kindness and without getting defensive.
Self‑directed: You are capable of figuring things out without constant guidance. And you have the humility to ask for help and mentorship when you need it!
Nice‑to‑haves
Camera presence. A desire and comfort level with being on‑camera
Experience with content production workflows (video, podcast, or editorial)
Familiarity with HR tech, workplace culture, or B2B content
Understanding of platform best practices (LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter)
Familiarity with Notion
Why Nectar?
Build something real: You’re not maintaining someone else’s system—you’re helping stand up an internal media company
