Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a CAD & Product Designer with a focus on home goods, located in Edison, NJ. The role involves creating technical drawings, designing home products using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, and developing detailed construction drawings. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring product concepts to fruition, ensuring designs meet quality standards, and staying informed about current market trends and design innovations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Technical Drawing, Drawing, and creating Construction Drawings
Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Design Engineering
Creative problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach to design
Experience in the home goods industry or related fields is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to feedback
