Motion Designer / Video Editor (Contract)
About Dunn&Co
Dunn&Co. is one of the Southeast’s top creative, branding, and advertising agencies. We’re a full-service shop delivering award-winning marketing solutions across industries including sports, food & beverage, tourism, financial services, and healthcare.
About the Role We’re seeking a talented motion designer/video editor to support our in-house production team during peak project periods. You should have a passion for strong storytelling, thoughtful design, and, ideally, some obscure 2000s sci‑fi references.
The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative creative environment, constantly explores new ideas in motion design, and produces visually compelling work. You’ll contribute to concepting and execution, bringing solid motion design, editing, and animation abilities, utilizing AI to enable and amplify the work as necessary. You should be a motivated self‑starter who listens well, problem‑solves, experiments, iterates, and enjoys the occasional dance break.
Location Preferably Tampa Bay, with the ability to work in‑office a few days per week.
Working Arrangement
Full time March - April (exact dates TBC)
Additional project work available prior to March, and work may also be extended on a project basis following the March/April contract
Requirements
A portfolio and reel showcasing motion design, animation, and editing skills
5+ years of motion design and editing experience
Proficiency with major post‑production tools (Adobe Creative Suite required)
Ability to deliver assets in multiple formats
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage source materials and project assets
Deep interest in video content and a drive to continually elevate your work
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast‑paced, experimental environment
Results‑driven and hard‑working
About You
Strong instincts for editing and motion graphics, with an understanding of what creates elegant, engaging content
Excellent design sensibility and attention to detail
Curious, flexible, and self‑motivated
Committed to growing your design abilities through exploration and feedback
Open to constructive criticism and able to apply learnings
Collaborative and comfortable contributing to team discussions
You enjoy creating, having fun, and working hard
