Position Overview This commercial role will report directly to the Area Sales Director and is primarily responsible for sales results and clinical account management within assigned Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs). The position involves driving transplant center demand through consignment and collaboration with territory managers, ensuring product pull‑through, and collaborating with national sales, logistics, and clinical teams. Roles will be titled Strategic Account Specialist or Strategic Account Manager, depending on experience and performance.

Primary Responsibilities

Achieve a minimum of 100 % monthly, quarterly, and annual quota.

Maintain and/or increase ASP, gain market share quarter over quarter and year over year within the aligned territory.

Serve as the in‑person face and primary representative of Paragonix to the OPO.

Differentiate Paragonix products & services from standard care and competitive products; key contacts include OPOs, transplant surgeons, medical directors, physicians, fellows, administrators, and executive leadership.

Closely monitor all cases within assigned OPO for quality, customer experience, and staff competence; provide escalation troubleshooting as needed.

Develop and leverage relationships with stakeholders across the transplant ecosystem, including OPO leadership, AOCs, preservationists, perfusionists, buyers, inventory managers, and transplant center surgeons.

Communicate clinical data, conduct in‑services & training, attend conferences, and support cases regularly.

Cross‑sell the full Paragonix product portfolio.

Communicate territory needs, trends, and problems to the Area Director.

Provide guidance and recommendations to medical transplant teams on the safe, effective use of organ preservation equipment, making independent decisions and offering guidance.

Guide customers on the use of the Paragonix App and provide case‑specific training and support for organ preservation devices and applications.

Collaborate with product, clinical, logistics, and local sales teams, and provide feedback as required.

Maintain field inventory for local OPO backup and manage consigned inventory across all products.

Cover case support for assigned OPOs per customer or management request.

Deliver in‑person and remote customer training and education for all Paragonix devices.

Provide field intelligence reports on competitive activity, market changes, distribution, and pricing, plus input on product features.

Manage time and assets cost‑effectively.

Maintain proficient product knowledge across all assigned product lines.

Required Skills Strong clinical understanding of the transplant system, solid OPO knowledge, organizational and communication skills, and fundamental understanding of transplant clinical considerations and operations. Ability to communicate effectively, train others, manage projects, relationships, and accounts, and lead through influence.

Other Requirements

Remote (US) field‑based position with regular in‑person sales & clinical support in OPOs and hospitals.

Willingness to travel domestic and/or internationally, including overnight and air travel, up to 75 % of the time.

Availability after hours and on‑call for clinical escalation coverage at assigned OPOs (including holidays, weekend, evenings).

Capability to carry bulky items up to 30 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work unpredictably in high‑stress environments such as operating rooms.

Excellent interpersonal, customer service, clinical, and technical skills.

Minimum Education

Minimum B.A./B.S. or equivalent education or experience in a related field (minimum experience: at least 3 years of OPO, transplant, medical device experience, nursing or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications

At least 2 years of Paragonix clinical experience.

Sales experience.

Account management experience.

Previous OPO preservationist or perfusionist.

Salary range: Total comp of $260k (including base of $85k plus target incentive)
