We are looking for a talented Freelance Video Editor to join our innovative Game Capture team at Dark Burn Creative. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who has a passion for the gaming industry, proven skills in content production, and can thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing creative environment.

NOTE: THIS FREELANCE ROLE REQUIRES FULL‑TIME HOURS, ON‑SITE EMPLOYMENT AT OUR WOODLAND HILLS, CALIFORNIA LOCATION.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with producers and creatives to support asset development.

Apply sound judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Follow general and detailed instructions on day‑to‑day work and new projects.

Understand brand pillars and game features.

Review brand documentation and asset briefs to gain a clearer understanding of the game.

Use active listening to interpret asset requirements.

Ask internal questions to clarify the asset’s creative vision and objectives.

About You

At least 3 years of experience in trailer editing or assistant editorial.

At least 4 years of experience with editorial editing software, specifically Premiere Pro.

Eager to learn and grow within the company.

Love of video games.

Location & Travel Full‑time, on‑site at our Woodland Hills, CA office. Candidates must live within commutable distance.

Compensation Daily rate: $325–$350 USD (paid via W2 payroll).
