Superintendent – Commercial Construction - Montgomery, AL or El Paso, TX
We’re seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on large commercial construction projects. In this role, you’ll oversee a specific project area and ensure excellence in safety, schedule, budget, quality, and team development. You’ll work closely with field engineers, trade partners, and project stakeholders to drive production, maintain project progress, and deliver top‑tier results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and mentor field staff within your assigned area
Coordinate daily construction activities and collaborate with trade partners
Enforce all site safety plans and create/review AHAs/STAs
Maintain and manage the four‑week schedule to keep the project on track
Track production and cost data accurately
Support material planning, inspections, and documentation
Uphold quality control standards for both company crews and trade partners
Manage punch list activities and ensure successful project turnover
Build strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and partners
Participate in coordination meetings and support BIM/VDC issue resolution
Required Skills & Experience
5–6+ years of leadership experience on large commercial construction projects
Strong background in scheduling and superintendent responsibilities
Valid driver’s license
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Prolog, Primavera, and AutoDesk Suite
Skilled in construction layout, blueprint reading, and shop drawing review
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
Compensation $95,000-105,000 base salary ($170-185k OTE)
