Description The Technical Animator is responsible for liaising between the creative and programming teams to optimize animation assets for export. Our ideal candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge and applied hands‑on skills. SpinPlay Games Technical Animators are natural problem solvers and clear communicators who pay attention to details.
Key Responsibilities
Create and animate characters, environments, and FX in different styles.
Apply knowledge of techniques to meet memory limitations.
Prepare assets for export in the most cost‑efficient manner, considering size, dimensions, and resolution.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum 6 years experience using Spine, ideally without use of the mesh tool.
Minimum 6 years experience in 2D animation, drawing and illustration.
Experience in mobile platforms required; slot machine games highly preferred.
Knowledge in 3D animation is a plus.
Applications without a 2D animation portfolio will not be considered.
