Overview
We have a client that is seeking a hands‑on Salesforce Architect to lead the design, development, and governance of scalable Salesforce solutions in a manufacturing environment. This role will own end‑to‑end architecture across multiple Salesforce clouds and play a key role in delivering compliant, secure, and high‑performing solutions that support sales, service, operations, and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, enterprise‑grade solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Net Zero Cloud in collaboration with internal Salesforce teams.
Own the technical architecture across one or more Salesforce orgs, ensuring scalability, performance, and long‑term maintainability.
Act as the lead architect on major initiatives, translating business requirements into secure, compliant, and technically sound solutions.
Define and enforce governance standards for configuration, customization, data models, integrations, and reuse of components.
Lead and approve architecture and solution design reviews.
Build and maintain a consistent integration framework and data strategy across Salesforce and enterprise systems (ERP, MES, PLM, data platforms, etc.).
Design secure data models and access controls for regulated and sensitive data.
Ensure Salesforce solutions meet
compliance and audit requirements
(e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 where applicable).
Partner with Security, Compliance, and IT to support validation documentation, audit readiness, and controlled SDLC processes.
Provide hands‑on leadership by developing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), flows, and integrations as needed.
Support stable release management across environments and dependent teams.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to business and IT leadership on platform strategy and investment decisions.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of Salesforce experience with at least 3–5 years in an Architect or Lead Technical role.
Deep expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; experience with Health Cloud and Net Zero Cloud strongly preferred.
Strong hands‑on development background with Apex, LWC, Flows, and APIs.
Proven experience designing multi‑org or complex enterprise Salesforce environments.
Strong experience with governance, security, and compliance in regulated or enterprise environments.
Solid understanding of integration patterns and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs).
Experience supporting manufacturing business processes (order‑to‑cash, service, field service, dealer networks, etc.) is a plus.
