About RemoteSolar
RemoteSolar enables people across Germany (including renters) to benefit from solar energy without installing panels or equipment at home. We help customers participate in the upside of large-scale solar parks and gain more independence from volatile energy prices. Our goal is to make accessing clean energy simple, transparent, and accessible to everyone.
We’re a small team with big plans, working closely together to build a product that genuinely helps people take part in the solar transition.
The Role We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager who can take ownership of our growth efforts from day one. You’ll define who our customers are, shape how we speak to them, run experiments across different channels, and make sure we learn quickly from the data.
This is a role with
a lot of autonomy:
you’ll influence our marketing direction, drive acquisition and engagement, and help build the foundations of our marketing function as we grow.
What You’ll Do
Conduct user research and interviews to identify target audiences and uncover insights
Develop clear value propositions and messaging that explain how customers benefit from RemoteSolar
Plan and execute campaigns across channels such as:
Social content (Reels, YouTube, influencers)
PR initiatives
Referral programs
Educational content (articles, blogs, guides, videos)
Track results, analyse performance, and implement learnings
Work closely with the founder, product, and operations to keep messaging aligned with strategy
Turn user and market insights into concrete recommendations
Own projects end-to-end: from concept to execution to analysis
Help shape how our marketing team and processes evolve
What We’re Looking For
Native German speaker with strong English skills
Based in Germany
3–5+ years of marketing experience
Experience in energy or sustainability is a plus
Comfortable in early-stage environments with shifting priorities
Strategic thinker who also enjoys hands‑on execution
Strong communicator who works well across teams
Analytical, curious, and creative
Proactive mindset and willingness to experiment
Interest in growing with the company and taking on future leadership responsibilities

€60,000 base salary + up to €30,000 performance‑based bonus
