Purpose and Scope
The HCP Marketing Manager, Education is an experienced and clinically savvy marketer leading the development and execution of the clinical marketing strategy for Fresenius Medical Care’s portfolio of home dialysis, in‑center dialysis (including high‑volume hemodiafiltration [HVHDF]) and acute care dialysis systems. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical messaging, driving therapy education, leading peer‑to‑peer programming, shaping fellows’ outreach, and activating key opinion leaders (KOLs) to accelerate adoption and elevate our presence in the nephrology space.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in HCP marketing, clinical education, and peer‑to‑peer engagement. They thrive in a highly cross‑functional, insights‑driven, and regulated environment.
Reporting to the Director, HCP Marketing, this individual works closely with cross‑functional partners—including Medical Affairs, Clinical, Strategic Accounts, and Sales—to deliver clinically accurate, engaging, and compliant marketing content that supports therapy understanding and adoption among healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and refine compelling, evidence‑based clinical value propositions for home hemodialysis (HHD), peritoneal dialysis (PD) and HVHDF
Translate complex clinical data and health outcomes into clear, differentiated messaging for HCP audiences
Co‑develop segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies for HCP customers
Analyze barriers to adoption (perceptual or otherwise) and develop actionable, impactful plans to address these misconceptions
Build and manage relationships with key nephrology opinion leaders (KOLs) to inform strategy and drive advocacy
Develop and author modular, peer‑to‑peer speaker decks aligned with clinical messaging priorities
Ensure all speaker materials are compliant, clinically accurate, and aligned with strategic messaging
Recruit and train clinical speakers and faculty for national and regional medical education initiatives and podium appearances for topics including home therapies and HVHDF. Maintain a diverse, high‑impact speaker roster, ensuring adequate geographic and specialty coverage
Develop robust, scalable peer‑to‑peer speaker programing for in‑person and virtual symposia intended for physician and nurse audiences
Lead the commercial organization’s programs to educate nephrology fellows
Create engaging sales aids that communicate clinical benefits, economic value, and patient‑centered impact, tailored to physicians and nurses
Partner closely with Medical Affairs, MSL team, Clinical, Strategic Accounts, Patient Marketing and Field Sales to ensure alignment on therapy positioning and education priorities
Support clinical training initiatives that prepare sales teams and clinicians to deliver consistent therapy messaging
Conduct ongoing competitive analysis of clinical messaging, scientific literature, and reimbursement policies
Ensure all materials are reviewed and approved through appropriate regulatory and medical review processes

Education and Required Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, Nursing or a related field desired.
Advanced degree (Masters, MBA) preferred.
Experience and Skills
4+ years of relevant experience in HCP marketing, medical device, or biopharmaceutical marketing.
Demonstrated success in clinical message development, speaker bureau management, and KOL engagement.
Strong understanding of clinical trials, peer‑reviewed literature, and policy implications in medical device settings.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience translating clinical data into marketing materials for healthcare professionals.
Strong collaboration skills and experience working with Clinical, Medical Affairs, Field, and Regulatory teams.
Expertise in marketing strategy and market research.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to accuracy and compliance.
Understanding of FDA promotional guidelines and medical‑legal review processes.
Analytical mindset and ability to interpret clinical data and apply insights to marketing strategy.
Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, highly regulated healthcare environment.
Ability to travel ~15% for speaker events, conferences, and KOL meetings.
Experience in dialysis, nephrology, or renal therapies desirable, yet not required.
The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
Annual Rate: $79,600.00 - $132,500.00 for Lawrence, MA location
