We’re looking for a senior, hands‑on Sales Manager or Head of Sales with a background in architecture or real estate to own and build our sales function. In this role, you’ll convert inbound leads into formX clients, develop and refine our sales and go‑to‑market approach, and play a key role in defining the structure and evolution of the sales function over time
This role is ideal for someone with deep sales experience in real estate, architecture, and/or construction services who is excited to build from the ground up, not simply manage an existing team.
Title will be commensurate with experience, with potential alignment as Sales Manager or Head of Sales.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full consultative sales process for premium, high‑value single family homes and ADUs, guiding clients through a complex design and construction decision journey.
- Build trust quickly with clients, understanding their lifestyle goals and translating them into customized design solutions.
- Partner closely with architects, designers, and operations to ensure proposals are accurate, compelling, and aligned with delivery capabilities.
- Translate customer insights into actionable feedback for product, design, and operations teams.
- Develop and refine scalable sales processes for lead qualification, proposals, pricing, forecasting, and client onboarding.
- Collaborate closely with the design and architecture team to ensure sales commitments align with delivery capabilities.
- Represent FormX as a thought leader in modern homebuilding and construction technology.
- Partner with marketing to craft narratives that communicate FormX’s differentiation in the ADU and single‑family market.
- Participate in local events, conferences, and real estate partnerships to strengthen brand visibility.

- Over time, recruit, train, and lead additional sales hires, establishing a culture of accountability, transparency, and performance.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in sales leadership, within the architecture, design, or real estate industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, highly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and sales pipelines.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Google Workspace.
- Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be located in Northern California and be able to travel locally, up to 20%.
