Videographer & Photographer Job at United Smart Tech in Carrollton

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented videographer & photographer to capture high-quality video and photo content that strengthens our brand, supports marketing initiatives, and tells compelling stories. This role involves planning, shooting, and editing a wide range of visual content, including promotional videos, product photography, events, social media content, and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production

• Collaborate with marketing, creative, and cross-functional teams to understand project goals and creative direction.
• Develop storyboards, shot lists, and production plans.
• Conduct location scouting, lighting tests, and equipment preparation.
• Provide creative input on concept development and visual style.

Production

• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and stabilization tools.
• Capture high-quality video footage, interviews, B-roll, and photography across various environments (indoor, outdoor, studio, on-site).
• Direct subjects, talent, and teams during shoots.
• Ensure consistent visual branding across all content.

Post-Production

• Edit video content, including color correction, audio mixing, motion graphics, and visual effects as needed.
• Retouch and edit photos for use in marketing materials, websites, and social platforms.
• Organize, archive, and maintain media files for easy access.
• Deliver content optimized for various platforms (web, social media, print, presentations).

Equipment & Asset Management

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and recommend upgrades for photography and videography equipment.
• Manage studio space, lighting kits, microphones, drones (if applicable), and editing workstations.

Qualifications

Required

• Proven experience as a videographer and photographer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment.
• Advanced skills in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of composition, color, light, and sound.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred

• Experience creating content for corporate environments, events, or marketing campaigns.
• Knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects) is a plus.
