Welcome to an Exciting Locums Hospitalist Opportunity in Alaska!

Start Date:
As soon as credentialed, no later than February 20, 2025
Schedule:
20 days of inpatient hospitalist coverage per month, split between two providers
Rotating: 5 days on, 15 days off
Patient Volume:
Average daily census: 10-12
Scope of Practice:
Inpatient Hospitalist Duties: Rounding and admissions
Procedures and Codes: Lead or participate in daytime codes
Pediatrics: Credentialing required for inpatient pediatrics
EMR System:
Evident
Support Staff & Resources:
3 employed hospitalists in the group
24-hour ED coverage
OB/GYN and Certified Nurse Midwives available for newborn care (NRP and well-baby care)
24-hour respiratory therapy
Onsite radiology (business hours) with interventional radiology support
24-hour general and orthopedic surgery coverage
Requirements:
Active Alaska medical license
Board Certification preferred
Open to Internal Medicine (Hospitalist) and Family Medicine (Hospitalist)
Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
