Cluster Human Resources Associate (South)

Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities for cluster hotels in line with manpower plans.
Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate with departmental heads.
Issue offers letters, appointment letters, and maintain recruitment documentation.
Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new hires as per Holiday Inn Express standards.
Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports for the cluster.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
Maintain accurate employee records (personnel files, contracts, IDs, attendance, leave).
Support confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations across the cluster.
Ensure exit formalities, clearance, and documentation are completed as per SOP.
Coordinate background verification and documentation compliance.
3. Payroll & Attendance Support
Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure accurate attendance and leave inputs.
Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and employee queries.
Support statutory deductions and compliance documentation.
4. Compliance & Statutory Requirements
Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory compliances, and hotel HR policies.
Maintain records related to PF, ESIC, gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate HR documentation.
5. Training & Development
Coordinate mandatory IHG trainings and compliance modules for cluster employees.
Maintain training records and track completion status.
Support departmental training initiatives and learning programs.
6. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Support employee engagement activities, celebrations, and welfare initiatives across the cluster.
Assist in grievance handling and employee communication in coordination with HR leadership.
Promote a positive work culture aligned with IHG values.
7. Performance Management Support
Assist in performance appraisal cycles and documentation.
Coordinate goal setting, reviews, and appraisal records for cluster employees.
Ensure timelines and compliance with IHG performance management standards.
8. HR Systems & Reporting
Maintain HRIS / Merlin / IHG systems with accurate employee data.
Prepare HR reports, MIS, and dashboards for cluster HR review.
Ensure data confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
9. Brand Standards & Ethics
Uphold IHG policies, Code of Conduct, and Holiday Inn Express brand standards.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Act as an ambassador of IHG’s
True Hospitality
culture and values.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate / Postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-unit operations
Exposure to cluster or multi-property HR operations is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of labor laws and HR processes
Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
Strong coordination and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities
Willingness to travel between cluster properties as required
Flexible to work extended hours during peak HR activities
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
