Director of Nursing (RN)
to lead our clinical team in a

Your Role as Director of Nursing (RN) The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing Department to ensure the highest quality of care, clinical outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and oversee all nursing services within the facility
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid requirements
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; oversee recruitment, hiring, and staff development
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of practice
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and clinical operations based on resident care needs
Conduct routine rounds, audits, and quality assurance activities
Manage infection control, safety, fire, disaster preparedness, and OSHA standards
Oversee medication management, treatments, and resident care plans
Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, residents, and families
Participate in facility leadership meetings, committees, and administrative planning
Provide on-call leadership support as required
What We’re Looking For
Current RN license in the State of Colorado or a compact state
Minimum of 1–5 years of long-term care or skilled nursing experience
Previous DON, ADON, or comparable nursing leadership experience preferred
Strong knowledge of state survey processes and regulatory requirements
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
Commitment to maintaining resident dignity, safety, and quality of life
