About Care Center Dayton Care Center Dayton is a specialty and emergency hospital located in Ohio’s Miami Valley, just an hour north of Cincinnati and west of Columbus. We are a close-knit, dedicated team focused on high-quality care and a positive, supportive work culture.
Though smaller than our sister hospital in Cincinnati, our Dayton location operates independently with the agility and camaraderie of a close community. We’re looking for a leader who’s energized by the opportunity to guide, build, and inspire.
The Opportunity As Medical Director, you’ll lead our ER team and specialists in a collaborative environment. You’ll balance clinical shifts with leadership responsibilities—offering mentorship, upholding medical excellence, and helping to shape hospital growth.

What You’ll Bring
DVM or equivalent degree, with Ohio veterinary license (or eligibility)
Emergency medicine background
3–5+ years of leadership or mentoring experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to lead and inspire a diverse team
Confidence overseeing a team that includes specialists
Nice-to-Haves
Leadership coursework or certifications
Experience building or shaping medical teams
A collaborative spirit and proactive mindset
What We Offer
Total annual compensation of $175,000–$200,000 , which includes base salary
plus a leadership stipend
Additional production pay
on top of base compensation
