Brief Description

The Respiratory Therapist -Clinical Sales Liaison is responsible for market development, referral generation, and relationship-building with healthcare practitioners and referral sources within the assigned territory. This role requires expertise in complex respiratory products and services, a strong understanding of insurance policies and regulations, and a commitment to delivering world-class patient care. The Clinical Liaison plays a vital role in driving growth, ensuring compliance, and improving patient outcomes. Reports to / Supervision Received

Manager: Vice President of Respiratory & Supplies Supervisory Responsibilities: None (unless specified by leadership) Collaborates closely with internal teams, including Customer Care Coordinators, billing, and operations, to ensure seamless patient care and service. Essential Functions

Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare practitioners and referral sources. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of complex respiratory products, services, and industry best practices. Understand and navigate insurance policies, regulations, and reimbursement processes related to respiratory care. Generate new referrals and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities. Conduct weekly stand-up meetings with CSRs and billing teams to align on patient care and service needs. Meet regularly with the Director to discuss operations, market development, patient care, and technology solutions. Adhere to company compliance policies and ensure all actions align with ethical and legal standards. Provide timely communication and follow-ups, ensuring all professional inquiries are addressed within 24 hours. Monitor and manage sales orders, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in processing. Support company-wide initiatives and collaborate with leadership on key projects. Qualifications and Requirements

Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) or relevant clinical background

required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or clinical liaison role, preferably in the respiratory or durable medical equipment (DME) industry. Strong understanding of insurance regulations, coverage criteria, and reimbursement processes. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and referral sources. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams. Proficiency in CRM and sales tracking software is a plus. Ability to travel within the assigned territory to meet with referral sources and healthcare providers. May require extended periods of standing, walking, or driving. Occasionally lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds.
