Job Description: Our Client has made exciting, significant advancement with a critical push to talk application for First Responders: FirstNet Push to Talk (FNPTT). The Account Management position will be responsible for managing and continuing the Capture Pursuit of the South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) with our new application. Through managing existing accounts and identifying new customers, the Account Manager will drive an increase Our Client’s market share in South Carolina Public Safety Market. Essential Functions: Prospecting, qualifying for Critical Communications Public Safety Systems in South Carolina Lead the pursuit team to fully qualify the opportunity, confirm that the win is achievable while increasing the probability of winning throughout the capture process Lead the development of the win strategy, and identify critical activities and resources needed to increase the win probability Ensure client-focused activities are taking place, including client and stakeholder meetings in concert with the Capture Team, throughout the life of the pursuit Drive team to develop win strategies and ensure differentiators are compelling and validated relative to client priorities Collaborate with the Solution Lead engineers (Broadband AT&T FirstNet) to develop a technical solution the client Serve as a color team reviewer during the proposal development phase to connect the customer problems to capture winning solution through the final proposal Once SCDPS is won, develop the winning strategy to win County and local system solutions Travel 50% within South Carolina Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Sales or Account Management experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Sales or Account Management experience. Public Safety Sales within the State of South Carolina Preferred Additional Skills: Technical knowhow of MCPS Networks Willing to take the challenge against the incumbent Motorola Understanding of the sales process of large statewide pursuit capture programs Public Safety Experience with MCPTT and Public Safety Land Mobile Radio Systems Experience leading capture teams and achieving successful outcomes Experience of the proposal process Experience with CRM systems
