This is an Event Porter position.
Pay:

Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
No experience required and on the job training provided
No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications:
Customer service experience
1 year of similar work experience
Responsibilities: Event Setup and Breakdown:
Oversee the setup and teardown of event spaces (tables, chairs, staging, equipment).
Ensure furniture and equipment are arranged according to floor plans.
Venue Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Monitor and maintain cleanliness of event areas before, during, and after events.
Ensure restrooms, entryways, and common areas are clean and fully stocked.
Inventory and Supplies:
Manage cleaning and event supply inventories.
Submit supply requests and track usage to avoid shortages.
Customer and Vendor Coordination:
Act as a liaison between event coordinators, clients, and the portering team.
Respond quickly to on-site needs or issues during events.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety standards and sanitation protocols.
Report hazards or maintenance needs to management promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
Verify post-event reports and shift logs/schedules
Record incidents or maintenance issues accurately.
Skills/Traits That Help:
Physical stamina (lifting and moving)
Attention to detail.
Punctuality (events have tight schedules)
Teamwork (coordinating with a team)
Basic tool skills (assembling/disassembling)
