About the Role Do you love helping people and making a difference every day? Then you’ll fit right in.
As a Member Service Representative (MSR), you’ll be the friendly face our members look forward to seeing. You’ll help them open accounts, learn new digital tools, and make confident financial decisions. Every day brings new opportunities to connect, serve, and grow.
What You’ll Do
Deliver outstanding service and create genuine connections with members.
Adhere to Credit Union policies, procedures, compliance, safety, and security standards.
Help members open and manage accounts.
Complete members requests and transactions with accuracy and care.
Educate members about products and services that make their lives easier.
Support marketing campaigns and share the benefits of credit union membership.
Collaborate with your team to keep our branch running smoothly.
Manage and balance cash drawer and secure negotiables.
Assist with Vault and ATM duties as needed.
Help members with Online Banking and third-party applications.
Be a positive part of a workplace that truly values people helping people.

Education
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required)
Some college preferred but not required
Experience
Minimum 1 year of banking or credit union experience
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Cash-handling experience strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
A genuine passion for helping people and providing exceptional service
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to build trust and rapport with members and teammates
Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Flexible, adaptable, and ready to learn new things
Sound math and analytical abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with credit union or banking products, services, and regulations is a plus
Physical Requirements
Primarily a seated role with some movement throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
Corrected vision and hearing within the normal range.
Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment
