Simply Good is seeking a Director of Creative Services to lead high-impact, consumer-centric creative across a portfolio of nutrition-focused brands. This role owns end-to-end creative operations and ensures all creative work, produced internally or through external agencies, is strategically aligned, on brand, and designed to engage and convert consumers across digital, retail, and DTC channels.


Partnering closely with Marketing VPs and brand General Managers, this role provides strategic creative leadership that strengthens brand identity, supports go-to-market execution, and drives business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the in-house creative team across design, copywriting, content production, project management, and digital asset management
  • Oversee creative development from concept through execution across 360 campaigns, packaging, retail, sales collateral, and digital experiences
  • Maintain alignment, prioritization, and brand integrity across Simply Good Foods’ multi-brand portfolio
  • Serve as a strategic creative partner to Marketing VPs and brand leaders, supporting campaign planning and annual brand strategy
  • Lead and manage external agency partners, including scopes, briefs, timelines, budgets, and creative quality
  • Own creative operations, workflows, resourcing, and capacity planning
  • Manage freelance and contract creative talent and evaluate vendor performance
  • Own and manage the in-house creative budget, providing visibility into spend, utilization, and priorities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, eCommerce, DTC, and retail teams to deliver platform-appropriate creative


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in creative services, in-house agencies, advertising, or marketing
  • 6+ years leading high-performing creative and/or project management teams
  • Proven experience managing internal teams and external agencies
  • Strong creative judgment with operational leadership in multi-brand, consumer packaged goods environments
  • Experience translating brand and business strategy into integrated, performance-driven creative
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
