This position provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Vice President, Creative Development for Paramount Television Studios. This role ensures the VPs office runs effectively by managing complex schedules and coordinating communications between external and internal partners. The Executive Assistant serves as a key liaison between various internal and external stakeholders requiring remarkable organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs in a dynamic work environment, while also maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and managing VPs calendar including the coordination of meetings with multiple participants (internal and external partners).
  • Screening and responding to incoming calls and correspondence.
  • Supporting VP in strategic priorities and monitoring and prioritizing incoming requests, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Anticipating executive needs and proactively addressing scheduling conflicts or operational bottlenecks.
  • Arranging travel plans and itineraries and compiling documents and expenses for travel-related meetings.
  • Arranging meetings or conferences by arranging conference rooms, issuing meeting requests or invitations and coordinating handouts.
  • Directing preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings.
  • Composing and preparing confidential correspondence, processing expense reports.
  • Coordinating and supporting all administrative duties in the office.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

Basic qualifications include:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience supporting senior executives; entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with software including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff, other administrators, internal and external customers and senior management.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding issues or information received.

Hiring salary range: $52,000.00 - 60,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
