Your Role and Impact:
In this role, you will act as a front-line sales driver for the
East Coast territory
, focused on winning new business, expanding market presence, and building a strong pipeline. You’ll operate with a hunter mindset—identifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and moving prospects from first contact through close—while partnering with internal teams to ensure successful execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Territory Growth & New Business Development
Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across the
East Coast territory
.
Develop and execute territory plans centered on account penetration, new customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
Generate leads through prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry events.
Travel approximately
30%
to meet customers, develop relationships, and support territory expansion efforts.
Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and value-driven sales solutions.
Sales Execution & Customer Engagement
Promote equipment and service offerings using a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.
Effectively communicate technical product and service information to influence buying decisions.
Coordinate closely with inside sales and internal teams from the Houston office to support deal execution.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain sales momentum.
Planning, Reporting & Collaboration
Maintain accurate pipeline activity, call reports, and expense reporting.
Participate in sales meetings, forecasting, and territory reviews.
Contribute to sales budgets and growth strategies.
Represent the organization at trade shows and industry events as needed.
Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education or experience may be considered.
Experience in hunter-style sales, business development, or territory growth roles.
Demonstrated success prospecting, negotiating, and closing new business.
Experience selling equipment, industrial, construction-related, or technical products preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive sales approach.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results driven.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to travel approximately
30%
across the East Coast territory.
Preferred Skills:
Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and territory activity.
Familiarity with ERP platforms.
